IMUS NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
A Culture of Academic Excellence and Discipline
The Early Registration of the Department of Education (DepEd) is done annually to all public schools nationwide in preparation of the forthcoming school year. This is done to make sure that incoming Kindergarten, Grades 1,7 and 11 will be reached out specifically to out-of-school children OSCs) and out-of-school youth (OSYs). This is pursuant to DepEd Order No.3,series 2018, otherwise known as the “Basic Education Enrollment Policy.”
As mandated by the DepEd, Imus National High School set its preparation and initiative through various activities with the aim of registering Grade 7, Grade 8, Grade 9 and Grade 10 new entrants for the School Year 2020-2021. Through the concerted efforts of the different stakeholders, GPTA officers, Barangay Officials, Student Organizations and the strong leadership of Mr. Arturo P. Rosaroso Jr., information dissemination has been made successfully before the opening of EARLY REGISTRATION. The said activity was scheduled February 1, 2020 – March 6, 2020 and necessary dialogues among head teachers, guidance counselors and other persons concerned were also done.
On January 26, 2020, the school head posted information through the school’s website regarding Ways on How to be Enlisted for the Early Registration. Interested entrants who wish to be a part of the said activity were given options. They may choose whether ONLINE or WALK IN if they are not included in the list submitted by the nearby elementary public schools.
The guidance counselors/teachers made School to School Campaigns, Barangay Mapping and Street Distribution of Flyers prior to the REGISTRATION schedule. The area was also prepared according to grade level. There was also an assigned room for learners with disabilities who wish to participate.
