Imus National High School (INHS), Imus City Vice Mayor Arnel “Oni” M. Cantimbuhan and the Smart Communications, signed a MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) for the ONY sa SMART project on October 22, 2020 at 9:00 am at INHS Covered Court, Bukandala III, City of Imus, Cavite.
ONY sa SMART (System Monitoring, Announcements and Response Tracking) for Bidang Imuseno, a part of the Imus City Vice Mayor’s advocacy “On to New Normal in serving the youth.” is a partnership program with Smart Communications which is intended to distribute a worth of 1,000,000 Smart Communications implements and Services like SIM Cards, Broadcast Messages, Pocket Wi Fi, Desktops and Laptops to the INHS students and to stakeholders.
The City Vice Mayor’s Office through Smart Communications will provide the high quality gadgets and services that will ease up the communication process between the school and all its stakeholders during this time of New Normal Education and ensure that the learning is delivered even through those learners who experience difficulty accessing the free Wi Fi provided by the City Government.
The 24 thousand SIM cards will be distributed students, teachers, parents and other academic support personnel to be used as means of delivering announcements and other teaching and learning communications.
The MOA SIGNING event was represented by the following: Imus City Vice Mayor Arnel M. Cantimbuhan; INHS Principal Arturo P. Rosaroso, PLDT and Smart Communications Cavite Area Manager Willie Capacite; Imus City Mayor Emmanuel L. Maliksi; Imus City Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Ivan Brian L. Inductivo and INHS PTA President Gemma Camisura.
More than being aligned to the school’s continued quest for excellence and discipline, this event also marks a fulfillment of the school’s mission of engaging the commnity in educational concerns of the Imusenos.
