IMUS NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
A Culture of Academic Excellence and Discipline
The Schools Division of Imus City headed by Dr. Rosemarie D. Torres, Schools Division Superintendent signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the City Government of Imus represented by City Mayor Hon. Emmanuel L. Maliksi and Private Riders Clubs DepEd Imus City Eagle Riders (DICER), Jade Residences Riders Community (JRRC) Lancaster Homeowners Riders Club (LHRC) and Watugs Cavite Motorcycle Club represented by club presidents Arturo P. Rosaroso, principal of INHS; Rico A. Esteban; Michael Barraca; Butz Kristian Nuesca Kuizon respectively, to guarantee the continuity of learning for the Batang Imuseño on July 11 at Imus National High School (INHS) covered court.
The MOA is borne out of the city’s initiative to cope with the new normal as the SDO works for the continuity of learning despite the COVID-19 pandemic situation that hinders the usual delivery of learning to the batang Imuseño.
This is also in consonance with the Brigada Eskwela and Oplan Balik Eskwela of the Department of Education, which encourage the community to support the schools in the implementation of the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP).
Subsequently, various remote delivery of learning or distance learning modalities emerged to answer the different needs of the learners.
Through the effort of DICER, the team Instructional Module Transporters (IMT) was created as Educator-Riders and other partner Riders Club volunteered to deliver self-learning modules to dropping points where the parents of the learners could get and return the modules of their children or riders could also to deliver the learning materials straight to the homes of the learners.
Furthermore, as the riders perform their duties as IMT’s, the LGU of Imus supports the group through the intervention of the different City Government departments like the Barangays, Philippine National Police (PNP), Health Office, Traffic Management Unit and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO).
Likewise, on the same event, the partner riders club officers and members took their oath of office presided by City Mayor Emannuel L. Maliksi.
